Yep... I take all of that.
Here is a picture of the medication I have been taking this month to help us get pregnant. I finally called it quits with my favorite O.B, Eric Nielson and moved on to a new doctor who can help us a lot more then Eric could. It was VERY hard for me to make the switch but found it necessary in order for us to get another little tike down here within the next 10 years, ha ha.
I like my new doctor... aside from his wicked bushy mustache and his slight mumbling problem which makes it hard to understand what he's saying sometimes. But he seems nice and totally knows what he's doing. He's proactive and didn't make me start from ground zero like I thought he would. I feel like we're in the right place and that things will go smoothly. I just have a good feeling about it all.
Anyway, just wanted to remind myself the hell that I've been through so that I won't do it again. =)

Bad Mommy Moment......
I was showing Jordan something on the computer the other day when all of the sudden we heard, "Hmmmmm, Hmmmmm." We turned around to find this. Oh boy. Bad Mom.
My FAVORITE pair of shoes to date!
Meghan and I ran into Ross the other day looking for a tie and a cover for Meghans phone. That's all. We some how managed to make our way over to the shoe section where I saw these coral Madden Girl wedges and my heart ached for them, SOOOO I brought them home. They are a cork wedge with a sling back strap, ruffly leather top and are perfectly coral. I was going to model them for you but Hendrix got to it first (and he's much cuter). Don't mind the strawberries smeared across his face. =)
Looks like someone inherited his Momma's crooked smile.

Binki - less
Since we tried to potty train last month with out much success, we decided that it was time to take away the binkis instead. I didn't want to be one of those Moms who has a 5 year old toddler in tow with a binki still in his mouth. So we braced ourselves and FINALLY did it! I wanted to take them away cold turkey but also wanted to be positive about it, so we decided to take him to Target and let him trade in the binkis for ANY toy in the store. He chose a BIG sheriff car that was $13.00 and worth every penny! I was shocked at how easy it was and how quickly he caught on. Only a few minutes of crying for both naps and bed time over the weekend with the exception of one awful naptime incident (but someone was WAY overly tired). I'm so proud of my big boy, I can't believe how old he's getting.
Here he is, showing me his cool new sheriff.
He got mad I was taking so many pictures so he pulled these silly faces instead of smiling. Typical boy.

Ordinary day in my extraordinary life.
Every once and awhile I wake up in the morning, rub my eyes and think to myself, "Today is another day that will be EXACTLY like yesterday and the day before that and the day before that."
I can rarely remember what day of the week it is and I constantly feel like my days are so routine and boring that I just want to puke. But then I snap back to reality when I smell my baby who is snuggled up next to me in our BIG bed where we feel so small. When he pokes me in the eye and says, "Momma's eyes is black," and laughs because he KNOWS that they really are brown but thinks he's pretty funny. That's when I remember how incredibly lucky I am that I get to spend every waking moment with my cute little Hendrix. I get to watch him grow, teach him how to count, make sure he gets enough fruits and vegetables and soak up EVERY kiss he willingly gives me with out asking. Just so I remember, I want to document what my days are like with my busy 2 year old.
7:30 ish- This is when I wake up to Hendrix crying in his bed. I go into his room, pick him up and ask him if he wants to go lay in Momma's bed. His reply is usually, "Lay Mommas bed, watch a show." He then proceeds to ask, "Where Daddy go? Daddy at work?" We snuggle in bed for awhile and usually watch Diego until our tummies start to grumble and we head downstairs.
8:30-9:30- We watch either Dispicable Me, CARS or Sesame Street. Hendrix drinks his milk and eats is "Nummies" aka Nutrigrain Bar (apple cinnamon flavored) and I sip on my Kirkland weight loss shake.
10:00-12:00- This is when we run errands, hang out with Meghan or play with Wendy, Bentley & Kenli.
12:30- Eat lunch, which is usually a battle since Hendrix never eats. He'll typically want a waffle, toast, noodles or a hot dog with yogurt or fruit.
12:30-2:30 or 3:00- Nap time! CONFESSION: I usually take a nap the same time that Hendrix does. I'm enjoying this while I still can. If I don't take a nap I'll clean the house, do laundry, blog or run on the treadmill.
3:00- Hendrix wakes up and usually watches another show or finishes the movie from earlier. We have some juice and a snack then decide what we're going to do until Daddy comes home.
3:30-5:30- If it's warm outside we either go to the park, go for a run in the jogging stroller (his new favorite activity), or take a walk around the neighborhood. If it's cold outside we'll run some more errands, play with friends, read books, color or play with play dough.
5:30- I start making dinner (most nights). Hendrix likes to sit on the counter top and help me or sometimes he'll sweep the floor and play with all of the measuring cups in the drawers.
6:00- Daddy comes home!!!! YAY!!!!! This is when Hendrix gets really hyper and a little bit out of control. We play for a bit, eat dinner and usually hang out on the couches with Daddy.
7:30- Bath time or shower time. Hendrix has been wanting to take showers instead of baths lately. lol. He just stands in the shower by himself and we wash him, he thinks it's pretty cool.
8:00- Hendrix usually requests a bowl of cereal while we watch an episode of Thomas the train.
8:30-9:00- Bed time. Aww, I get excited just thinking about it.
9:00-11:00- This is MY time. I'm usually on the computer or watching TV with Jordan. He plays soccer 2 or 3 times a week and his games are typically during this time so I get to do whatever I want. This is also when I take a shower if I haven't had time during the day.
There ya go! That's what my day is like 95% of the time. It's simple, easy-going and sometimes boring but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

This was us running errands yesterday. No... I didn't give my son a 24 oz Dr. Pepper to drink in the backseat. It was for the delicous shredded BBQ pork I made for dinner last night.

I see piggies!
I see piggies pink and blue
I see piggies yes it's true
These little piggies belong to...
WHO??
OH! Hendrix and Haylie!
Vintage flowers steal my heart.
I might be a little bit obsessed with vintage flower head bands/necklaces lately and refuse to spend a fortune on jewelry when I can just make it myself! So, crafty little me has been adding to my collection lately. Aren't these flowers lovely? People keep telling me I need to sell them but I'm not sure if I want to or how I would go about doing it. I guess we'll see if more people are interested in buying them. Until then I will hoard them for myself.

Hendrix and Marcus
Julie was up here this last week and Hendrix was so excited to play with cousin Marcus. We went to my Mom's house to play one day and took lot's of pictures since we don't get to see Marcus very often. We sure love you guys though!
Chasing bubbles NEVER gets old.
Racing down the hill.
All of the boys are fascinated with this nasy puddle of water at my Mom's house.
These poor ducks didn't have a chance with 2 toddlers chasing after them.
Love you guys! Thanks for playing!

My favorite piece of jewelry!
I have been meaning to take a picture of my one of a kind, to die for, in love with necklace but haven't done so until now. I ordered this beauty from Star Fish Jewelry and fell in love as soon as I opened the little blue box with the purple bow on top. Star Fish Jewelry is an online company that will customize any piece of jewelry you order. Each piece is hand made with love and is a constant reminder to me, what I hold dear to my heart. Isn't she stunning?

Ben's Birthday & Mother's Day BBQ!
She could be mine, right? I think Cody and Wendy should just make US a baby.
L O V E him! Mwuah!
Cody is sick and I look pregnant in this picture..... but I'm not.
Jordan teaching the boys how to drum properly.
There were a couple is SICK pictures of me and Annie that I decided to spare you all from. If you REALLY want to see them, they're on Wendy's blog.
It's fine that Benny Boo Boo is leaving us again. He's going to sell The Living Scriptures in Tenennsee all summer. BOOOOOOO! At least we can talk to him and SKYPE.
Ben and his 872 birthday cakes. Lucky boy!
Bentley and Hendrix helped Ben blow out his candles. I obviously haven't taught Hendrix how to blow yet... he really struggled and Bentley got sick of waiting so he just went ahead and blew Hendrix's candle out for him.
Check out my biceps. I'm really strong.
Favorite picture of the whole night!
Grandma Brenda opening up her Mother's Day gifts. Wendy got her a new waffle maker since the old one was tired from all of the waffles it had made throughout it's long life.
I made her a magnet board because she's been wanting one for a long time. Ben and Annie got her a gift card to have her hair done, Julie gave her a gift card to Great Harvest (YUM!) and my Dad got her a book shelf. Happy Mother's Dad Mom! I love you!
