Busted foot

Hendrix and I were in the basement the other day looking through some boxes. We have a standing space heater that weighs like 25 pounds and is solid metal sitting in our storage room. Poor Hendrix had no shoes on and tipped the heater over. It landed right on top of his little foot. I knew it was really bad because he wouldn't stop crying and kept telling me that bees were inside of his foot, stinging him. I took him to intacare where they x-rayed it and told me there was a small crack in his bone. We took him up to the pediatrician where they looked at the x-rays and gave us a boot for him to wear so that he could get around.
Today is day 3 and he's been doing really well! He loves his little boot and has no problem walking and even running all over. His foot looks worse everyday though. The bruising is really starting to show up now that all of the swelling is gone.

This was like 5 minutes after it happened. Sorry the picture is so bad, it was taken with my dinosaur phone.

So excited that Grandma Brenda brought him cool balloons and some really fun toys.

Cutest little "Wee Walker" boot you've ever seen!

Day 2 bruises.

Day 3. Still swollen and more bruising on the right side.

Happy boy!

L3 Zoo Party

Hendrix is as big as  a female adult gorilla. Yikes!

Hendrix kept staring at the gorilla's nipple. LOL.

It wouldn't be a good blog post with out one of Jordan's model poses.

 The stroller crew.

Hendrix has a very sensative nose and is constantly telling me that things are stinky. He was horrified that the giraffes smelled so bad. He wouldn't even go inside the reptile place.

The Remmi girl. These are her tired eyes.

Hendrix was so excited to ride on the elephant. He loved seeing the real elephants.

 Love this picture!

He couldn't decide between a tiger and a snake. He went with a red and orange snake.

 Love my babies.

 Sssssssss......

Family pic. This was right around the time Hendrix had a melt down, neat.

On our way out. What a fun day we had! Thanks L3 for the party.

Good Morning!

Remmi is soooo adorable when she wakes up in the morning. She smiles the second you walk into her room and usually starts to coo after all the smiling is over. I pretty much LOATHE every morning but waking up to her giant smile makes it a lot easier. She's seriously the happiest baby ever.

I can't forget about my big boy Hendrix. He's usually the one that wakes me up in the morning. He'll come in our room and say, "Momma, it's time to wake up! It's not dark outside anymore. Can you get me a drink like Grandpa's (instant carnation breakfast) please?"

Despite the "adjusting to 2" phase I've been struggling to survive (which needs a post all in itself), these 2 always make me smile first thing in the morning.

Kunz Family Reunion

Every September my Mom and her cute sister Marnae put together a Kunz family reunion. They do such a good job and we always look forward to continue getting to know that side of our family. This year I brought my camer and actually took some pictures... well.... it looks like my camera got passed around and some pretty awesome pictures were taken. Please enjoy!

These are Jordan and Cody's "modeling" pictures. Jordan is rockin his blue steel face and Cody is showing off his firm glutes.

Ben took this picture. I love the color of Hendrix's eyes.

Here we are with my sweet Grandma and Grandpa. My Grandma turned 90 yesterday and they just celebrated their 70th wedding anniverary. That's a VERY long time! I thought 7 years was quite the accomplishment for us.

Ben & Sarah, or Sareah according to Hendrix.

We're lame. Where's Annie???? She's usually in these sick pictures with us!

My smokin hot husband doin what he does best.... being a Daddy!

Ben poured that soda all over my face 2 minutes later.... neat.

 LOL! BLACK MAIL PICTURE WENDY!!!!!

Awwww, my sweet Remmi chillin on my lap. She was soooo good all night despite being passed around, exhausted and cold.
