A Kemp Christmas

I'm posting all of our Christmas pictures from the Kemp/Southwick side of the family tonight. Our weekend started off with breakfast and a visit from Santa and Grandma and Grandpa Southwick's house on Christmas Eve morning. Hendrix was extremely excited all day long about seeing Santa and sitting on his lap. He asked for a "big jet" and cried when he opened his pajamas from Santa because that wasn't what he asked for. He was way over due for a nap at this point. He did love the tool workshop book from Santa though.

Happy boy after waiting patiently for his turn to sit on Santas lap.

We decided to all sit on Santa's lap as a family. You should have seen Santa's face when tall Jordan walked over and we all tried to squeeze on his 2 legs. I love that you can't even see his face in the picture. lol.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Hendrix was super excited about the bike that Santa brought him and couldn't wait to ride it. He kept calling it his "tricycle" and he wanted to fix it with tools more then ride it. It's a little bit big for him but he won't be riding it for another 5 months or so.
Jordan surprised me with a trip to Hawaii in February! WHOO HOO! I was totally shocked when I opened it. We're taking Hendrix along with us because there is noway I could leave my baby for that long, I would miss him way too much and Jordan found a really good deal on flights for all 3 of us. We're hoping that Judd and Judy will be able to come along with us after he gets the okay from his doctors. I'm sure it will be an adventure being 6 months pregnant and hauling a 3 year old 3500 miles across the ocean. FUN!

 Riding his new bike

Check out the sweet robe I got Jordan for Christmas...

CHRISTMAS NIGHT

We spend Christmas afternoon/evening at Judy and Judd's house every year. There are yummy sandwiches, clam chowder, goodies and lot's of presents. We had tons of fun except for Jordan. He ate an expired yogurt a few hours before and spent most of the night in the bathroom. Poor guy! It was awful to see him that sick!

If I look a little exhausted in this picture... that's because I am.

Hendrix got a VTech Inotab from his grandma and grandpa this year. It's supposed to be like an Ipad for kids. He totally loves it and I'm super excited to upload some learning games, music and movies to it. Thanks Judy and Judd!

Oh my goodness, I love this picture so much! I told Hendrix he only had to smile ONE LAST TIME (he was totally sick of taking pictures all weekend) so he pulled this super big, cheesy smile. lol.

Little Sister!

We got an early Christmas present this year. We found out this morning that our little baby is going to be a GIRL! We're super excited and can't wait to meet her in May. Hendrix knew all along that he was going to have a little sister... we need to listen to the little guys more often, he totally knows. Everything looks great so far!

3-D pic. Totally cool but a little creepy at the same time.

The special box

The other day Hendrix stole this shoe box from my closet and carried it around most of the day, filling it with toys and goodies. I was upstairs getting dressed when I heard him yell "Momma, come look at this... quick!" I went down the stairs and found this. Here is his explanation. "Ya put dis box under the tree and Santa will come and leave me presents." I have no idea where he got that idea but it was pretty dang cute so I took his picture next to the special box.

Oh my goodness I LOVE HIM!

17 week bump.

Here is a picture of my baby bump at 17 weeks. This was taken last week since I'm now 18 weeks. We find out on Friday what we're having. YAY!

School crafts

Hendrix made this adorable tree at "school" the other day and I had to take a picture of it! He was so proud of himself and told me all about how he painted with his fingers. His teeth are pink because they frosted sugar cookies as well and Hendrix had just eated one with red frosting. His teeth and lips were pink for hours, lol!

Hendrix's 3rd Birthday Party!

After spending all day with Mom and Dad, Hendrix was lucky enough to have the rest of his family come over for cake, icecream and presents later that night. Hendrix got some really nice gifts that have kept him entertained ever since his party... THANK YOU EVERYONE! Here are a bunch of pictures from the night, mostly from Wendy's camera. Thanks Wend!

Happy 3rd Birthday Hendrix!

Today is my baby's 3rd birthday and we celebrated all day long. Daddy stayed home from work to make sure we had all the fun that we could. Hendrix woke up to balloons all over his bedroom thanks to the birthday balloon fairy. He loved EVERY second of it. Then we went downstairs to open his presents and eat some breakfast.
We gave Hendrix a MACK truck from the movie CARS, which was defenitely the favorite toy of the day. He's been wanting one for a long time now. He also got CARS 2 the movie, some new books, new clothes and some more blocks. We watched CARS 2 for a bit then got dressed and went to the mall to ride the train. We've taken him every year for his birthday now because he loves it so much.
Later, we got some lunch at Carl's Jr. with Annie and we let Hendrix play on the playground for a while. He was wiped out and had a 2 hour nap. Around 6:00, everyone came over for cake and icecream. Hendrix got so many nice presents and loved having everyone over. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us.

Hendrix would say, "Ohhh my gosh" when he opened every present. It was so cute!

 Building towers with Daddy

We took this same picture last year on his birthday in this same car.

I like that Jordan's head is the "F" in FOREVER.

Oh my gosh I love this picture. I wish it wasn't so blurry.

After lunch we let Hendrix have a candy cane. He LOVES them and I think it's disgusting.

PART 2 will be coming soon...........
