HAWAII (Days 1 &2)

We got to Hawaii yesterday around 3:00 pm and have had lot's of fun so far. The only thing that hasn't been wonderful is the fact that my poor baby has croup. Hendrix was pretty congested last night and didn't sleep very well but got worse as the day continued. He played hard despite the fact that he wasn't feeling well. After his nap I knew for sure that he had croup. He was having a hard time breathing and his cough sounded horrible. Luckily my pediatrician called in a presciption for some steroids to help him breathe better and he seems to be improving. We'll see how tonight goes.

I haven't taken too many pictures yet, we've been having too much fun. We did take Hendrix to the beach today and he could not get enough of the sand, water and waves. I mean, NO FEAR whatsoever of the ocean. He was being so crazy, one of us had to be right next to him because the waves kept crashing in on top of him. When I laid him down for his nap today, he said, "I had so much fun swimming today."

This is the only picture I took on day 1. We went swimming as soon as we got here and then watched the sunset. Hendrix was SO excited to finally be in Hawaii, this is his "excited" smile.

25 Week Pictures. Inside and Out.

Here is my 25 week belly! (Don't mind that my head is cut off.) It's amazing how much she's grown in just 5 weeks. We got to see her today in another ultra sound and it made me want to hold her/see her even more. It's amazing how I have grown to love this little fetus inside of me. She is getting so strong and reminds me daily with her little kids how lucky we are to be pregnant again.

Here are some cute pics we got today during our second ultra sound. She's right on track and weighs a whopping 1 lb. 10 oz. It's so fun to get to see your baby before they make a grand entrance into the world.

Giving us the "okay" sign. She just wanted to let us know that all is well in her cozy little world.

Sucking her thumb... just like her momma.

3-D pics are super cool. Look at her little button nose.

She looks so peaceful and cozy.

Snuggling with Elmo

We were out running errands today and Hendrix said, "I just want to go home and snuggle with Elmo." I guess his idea of snuggling with Elmo is sitting on his lap, lol. When Hendrix goes to bed at night, he has to have: His "regular" blanket, his Lightning Mcqueen blanket and Elmo.

This is why we don't take naps anymore.

Oh my word. I had to document what my son is like at 10:00 PM when he's had a nap earlier in the day. We've been transitioning from having a nap to not having a nap for about a month now but I think it's quite clear that my son DOES NOT need a nap anymore. It's like he's on crack or something!

Last night he took his PJ's off and ran around like a crazy animal for at least 30 minutes. Let me remind you that it was 10:00 PM. He's so silly.

 Favorite picture of the night.

Somehow he ended up in the laundry basket. (Don't mind my bright flash, it was pretty dark.)

 What is going on here?

This is what you get when you say, "Give me the stink eye." I seriously laughed so hard after I took this picture that I peed my pants. I promise my child has 2 front teeth and doesn't live in a trailer.

Oh, that's where my TUMS went.

I went into the bathroom yesterday and found THIS. Yes, those are my TUMS on the back of the toilet seat. I just cleaned the toilet but I think I'll opt for buying a new bottle. Not quite sure what was going through his little head when he did this.

Since it was bath time when I discovered where my TUMS were, I thought I would take a few pictures of Hendrix in the tub. He LOVES the tub and could stay in there for hours.

Awww, I nice little back massage. He does this everytime he gets in the bath.

Toilet training?

We're STILL trying to get Hendrix to poop in the potty. At this point, he's been totally potty trained for like 7 months and doesn't even sleep in a diaper anymore but for some reason, refuses to sit on the toilet to poop. Believe me, we've tried E V E R T H I N G!
The other night he actually did it but our celebrating was short lived because he's even more stubborn now. He said to me, "I don't need to poop in the potty, I already did." So here is a picture of him wearing the little toilet on his head. He was supposed to be sitting on it, "trying" to go but ended up running around like this. Oh well, life is short.

20 weeks, then and now.

I'm so excited to be 20 weeks along already because in 20 more weeks, we get to meet our baby girl. I could not be more thrilled to see her little face.
I thought it would be fun to compare my 20 weeks belly pics from when I was pregnant with Hendrix 4 years ago. I think my bump is pretty much the same size. Jordan actually felt our baby girl kick for the first time last night! It was really cool, I didn't think he would be able to feel her already but she decided to put on  a show for her Daddy. Being pregnant can be hard sometimes but those little moments make it all worth it.
