2013 Highlights

We had lot's of adventures this year and I wanted to remember them all in one post! Looking back at the last 12 months I cannot help but feel extremely blessed. We dealt with a lot of heart ache and sadness in 2012 so it was good to look back at all of the fun we had this year.

We bought a house in March and moved in a couple of weeks later.

In March we also went to Hawaii with the Kemp clan! It was AMAZING and a trip I'll never forget.

I celebrated my 4th Mother's Day

Remmi turned ONE on May 20th 2013

In July we found out we were pregnant again! CRAZY!

I got a new nephew, baby Hayden.

Hendrix started his 2nd year of preschool at Savvy Kids in September.

Annie and Kyle got married on September 28th.

I went on a girls trip with Judy, Meagan and Brooke to New York in October.

We bought a new (and bigger) car.

We went to Disney Land at the end of October. We celebrated our birthdays there as well.

I turned 28 this year and Jordan turned 31.

We found out that our 3rd baby will be another girl.

Hendrix was Iron Man for Halloween and Remmi was a unicorn.

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our new house this year.
(Pictures to come, waiting for Wendy to post them on her blog.)

Jordan went to Texas with Jaden to be with Janson for his birthday.
(No picture. Boys don't take pictures)

Hendrix turned 5 years old.

Jordan and I celebrated our 10th Christmas together.

Christmas 2013

My camera was currently not working on this lovely Christmas morning (thanks to a very curious 5 year old boy) so we had to use our cell phones to capture the magic of Christmas morning this year. Sadly, I only have 7 pictures. I will cherish those 7 pictures though!
The night before Christmas we made chocolate chip cookies for Santa. Hendrix said that those were his favorite kind of cookies. We left carrots for his reindeer as well. Hendrix sprinkled his magic reindeer food on the lawn so that Rudolph could find our house from the sky.
Christmas morning began around 8 am when Remmi woke up. She played in our bed with us until 9:00 when we finally decided to wake Hendrix up. Grandma Judy also came to watch us open our presents. It was a splendid morning. Santa brought Hendrix some new legos, Remmi a little farm, Daddy got a leaf blower and Mama got some new pots and pans. Mama also got a suprise sewing machine from her special guy! Thanks love!
Remmi's 2 favorite gifts were probably her pink bike and her pink kitchen.
Hendrix's 2 favorite gifts were his electric scooter and his remote control helicopter.

Going to see Santa!

I wasn't going to do a Christmas card this year because I don't have a current family picture, not much as changed in our family since last years Christmas card and I'm pretty fat/giant which = me not wanting to be in any pictures. I decided at the very last minute to take the kids to the mall and snap a picture with Santa to put on a Christmas card. I'm sooooo glad I did! I turned out super adorable and the kids had a lot of fun. Jordan was in Texas with his brothers so I had a date night at the mall with my babies.

Here we are on the little train. It was really hard to get both of them to look at me and smile since they were SO excited to be on the train. The pictures are a little blurry too.

Our picture with Santa! I was worried about how Remmi would react to him. She wasn't scared or overly excited, just kind of checked him out. Hendrix was thrilled and told him all about the legos he wants for Christmas and how we were going on the Polar Express in a few days for his birthday. Remmi didn't want to get off of his lap after the picture. Cutest kids ever!

Remmi is 18 months old in this picture. Cute as a button!

Pretty much what my morning looks like everyday. Best view ever!

Hanging Christmas lights with Dadddy! Best helper around!

Zoo day with DADDY!!!!

I have LOT'S of pictures/posts from the zoo this year but the pictures are too cute not to put up! We braved the cold and went to the zoo a couple of weeks ago with Daddy this time! NO ONE was there and all of the animals were out so it was pretty awesome!
