Scout Camp

My sweet husband took Hendrix with him to scout camp all day Friday and Saturday so that I could have a break from my busy little 3 year old. I will forever be in debt to him for doing this, I totally needed a break and had to get some shopping done.  =)   (Don't worry, I mowed the lawn in the 100 degree heat so that Jordan wouldn't have to when he came home from camp.... I'm already trying to repay him.)
I don't think I have ever seen a child so dirty than when Hendrix came home on Friday. Jordan told me he was doing snow angels in the dirt on their hike. Neat. Poor Jordan had to carry Hendrix on his shoulders while they hiked THREE whole miles. He deserves the Dad of the year award for that!

I love that Jordan took some pictures on his cell phone, they turned out so cute!

Here is my dirty little boy, passed out on the floor from exhaustion.

My new toy

I got a new toy courtesy of my sweet in-laws and I LOVE it with all of my heart. Who gets excited about a jogging stroller you ask? Someone who hasn't been running in SEVEN months! We've actually only taken this bad boy on some serious walks but I look forward to taking the kiddos on a run with me. I did run by myself last night though... first time in 7 months and I made it 2 whole miles with out stopping. I was a bit slow and thought I was going to die at the very end but felt SOOOO good after. Running is like meditation for me, I missed it so much!
Thanks again to Judy and Judd for the wonderful present!

Hendrix can't get enough of the new stroller!

Remmi likes to doze on our walks.

A new double jogging strollers make me really happy too!

1 Month Old

Hi! I'm ONE month old today and to celebrate... my Momma painted my toenails!

My crazy brother loves me a little bit too much. I get pestered most of the day.

He's a good older brother though.

I got a little bit cold and cranky so my Momma bundled me up. Much better.

At ONE month old, I.......

- Pretty much sleep through the night. I go about 5 hours in between feedings. This makes my Momma VERY happy.  =)

-Love to be snuggled.

-Smile occasionally.

-Still sleep most of the day.

-Have the nursing thing down and it sure does show! My thighs and cheeks are getting chunky.

-Weigh about 9 lbs.

-Get cuter everyday!

This is what happens when....

This is what happens when you let your 3 year old get dressed all by himself. Enjoy!   =)

 Shoes on the wrong feet.

Pants on backwards and underwear inside out.

Then they spray themselves with the hose and have to take their shirt off.

How did he get such beautiful eyes???? They're not from his Momma, that's for sure!

Remmi's 3 week old pictures.

My amazingly talented friend Taisley Weston took Remmi's 3 week old pictures last week and I absolutely LOVE them! I can't believe how many cute pictures she was able to capture since Remmi screamed 3 of the 4 hours she was at my house. Bless your soul Taisley. I can't even wait to share them with you all!

19 days old.

Adjusting to 2 kiddos has been pretty interesting for us. We defenitely have our good days and our bad days. Remmi is the sweetest little baby and for the most part has been the easiest adjustment for me. She sleeps anywhere from 4 to 6 hours at night in between feedings which results in me being a better/happier mommy. Remmi weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 oz. today and is 20 inches long. Jordan and I have been wondering if she has the same throat issues that Hendrix did when he was a little baby. She seems to have trouble breathing sometimes and tends to wheeze a lot. Our pediatrician was a little bit concerned today as well and recommended we take her up to Primary Childrens to see the doctor that did Hendrix's surgery. I REALLY hope we don't have to send another baby into surgery, that was extremely hard for us with Hendrix... he was only 3 months old.

Hendrix has been such a good older brother and helps me most of the time. He loves Remmi dearly and expresses his love for her a bit more agressively than we would like. He loves to be in her face pretty much any chance he gets and has already tried to get her out of the bouncer by himself... oh dear (Insert smily face with extra wide eyes right here.) Hendrix seems to need more attention these days and somehow has become much more LOUD. I really try to be patient with him but my limits are tested every single day. Once again, we have good days and bad days.

A few more things about Remmi that I would like to document are:
-She is almost out of newborn clothes. (Except for onesies and pants.) Her arms are extremely long!
-She hates any bow/head band that I put around her head. She doesn't seem to mind the tiny bows that I Karo syrup onto her head.
-Bath time is getting better, she only screams for 1/2 of the time.
-My dear friend Taisley took her newborn pictures on Monday and was at my house for FOUR hours. Remmi screamed for about 3 1/2 of those hours. Poor Taisley, I owe her BIG TIME. We did manage to get some adorable pics though, can't wait to see them.
-A wonderful nurser she is!
-She has 2 adorable dimples. Oh my, I love them!

Cell phone pics

Yesterday morning I was hanging out with the kiddos in our giant bed and took a picture to send to Jordan. We then proceeded to take a bunch of pictures since everyone was so happy. I think Jordan got like 6 picture texts from me within 5 minutes.
I wish I had a cool smart phone with a good camera and instagram so I could make these pictures look better but I don't....... I have a dinosaur phone that I drop every 10 seconds which means I will probably never own a really nice phone. *Sigh*

I took this last picture of Remmi the day we came home from the hospital. I couldn't believe she was so awake and bright-eyed being 2 days old.
