8 Months

My baby turned 8 months old on the 20th. I'm a bit of a slacker and just took her pictures today. lol. Remmi is such a delight these days. She's like a piece of sunshine on a cloudy day or sprinkles on a birthday cake. She seems to make everyone happy. Love her!

-Remmi is getting pretty close to crawling. She gets so frustrated that she can't move any faster. Basically she just rolls from place to place.
-She LOVES food! Shocker, right? She eats everything I put in her mouth and usually cries for more. I recently started feeding her table food.... banana pancakes seem to be her favorite!
-My baby is pretty chubby. Everyone seems to make comments on how fat she is. Sometimes I get offended but then remember that she has NEVER been sick! Suck on that little chicken babies! I like her squishiness. =)
-Remmi is obsessed with Hendrix and thinks he's hilarious. Her Momma is her favorite though. She's kind of a Momma's girl.
-A tiny baby tooth is starting to poke through Remmi's gums! YAY!
-She wears 12-18 month clothes.
-Is content just sitting on our laps. Loves to be snuggled.
-Wants to chew on EVERYTHING!
-Still growls but mostly squacks and squeals like an extrememly loud parrot.

7 Months

Happy 7 months baby! You are probably the most delightful thing I have ever encountered. I love you more that I could ever imagine and I have to restrain myself, on a daily basis, from eating you. NOM NOM NOM! Here are some fun things about you right now:

You eat baby food and love it! I've been trying to make most of your baby food, since it's so much better for you. You'll pretty much eat whatever I put in your mouth but usually cringe a few times before you get used to the flavor.
You sleep 13 hours with out eating and only get up once or twice in the middle of the night when you lose your binki.
You think your brother is hilarious.
You're completely terrified of my blowdryer and have a meltdown whenever I turn it on.
You LOVE your jumper.
Your smile is contagious and pretty much everyone loves you.
Those cheeks and dimples are delightful.
No teeth yet.
You weigh 18 lbs... little chunker!
You're 27 inches long.
You kind of have a small head. lol. It's okay, I do too.
Your eyes are hazel like brother and daddy.
You can ALMOST sit up all by yourself. No crawling yet.

Your Aunt Meagan gave you this adorable outfit! It makes me smile.  =)

Love those big hazel eyes!

TRAX

Meghan invited us to ride TRAX with her, Mathew, Beckett, Lynette and Ammie on Friday. Hendrix had never been on TRAX, so it was a lot of fun for him. We rode the train all the way down town, ate lunch at Hires and rode the train back home.

Birthday Fun!

So excited to see the Thomas train track my Mom and Dad gave him.

Unwrapping the cute outfit Meghan, Jordan and Beckett gave him. Bentley gave him a new game for his Innotab. FUN!

GROUP SHOT! This is everyone that was there.

Singin Happy Birthday to my baby!

Since we took Hendrix on The Polar Express for his actual birthday, we had a little party for him the next day with our family. It was SUPER laid back so I kind of forgot to take pictures. I got a few but wish I had more.

Hendrix picked out his birthday cake (wish I could have taken a picture of it) all by himself. It's Curious George riding on a train (freakin ADORABLE). He also picked out his icecream flavors. Chocolate with brownie chunks and cookies n cream. He must be my son.

He got lot's of cute presents, thank you everyone!

The Polar Express

The Polar Express is Hendrix's favorite movie and has been for at least a year. He's obsessed with trains, especially the The Polar Express. We watch the movie all year round, even when it's 90 degrees outside. We decided to surprise him this year and give him a ticket to ride the Heber Creeper/Polar Express for his birthday. When I was buying tickets I noticed that they had a train ride on December 15th... his birthday! He unwrapped his golden ticket (thank you Aunt Wendy) when he woke up on his birthday. He was sooooo excited and asked ALL DAY LONG if it was time to go ride the train yet. We left Remmi with Grandma Judy and drove up to Heber. It was absolutely AMAZING. When you describe Christmas being "magical" for a child, this is what I picture. It was worth every penny, he will remember this for the rest of his life.
My one regret is not taking my nice camera but I wasn't sure if it would be a pain to lug around. My cell phone was fine but the flash kind of ruined the pictures.

Hendrix wanted to eat at "Old Mcdonalds" for his special dinner date.

Waiting in the lobby before we climb aboard.

 ALL ABOARD!

Waiting patiently for Santa to climb aboard.

Santa sat and talked with Hendrix for 2 or 3 minutes. It was really neat! Santa gave him a bell like in the story and wished him Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas.

We got photo bombed by an elf!

BIRTHDAY SNOW!

How fun is it to wake up to a foot of snow on your 4th birthday??? Wicked awesome fun! Hendrix was so excited to come home from his soccer game and play in the snow with Daddy.

 SNOW BALLS!
