H- "I'm gonna bop your eye out!"
Me- (Just got out of the shower and was putting lotion all over my body)
H- "You putting lotion on your big bum?"
Sometimes Hendrix forgets what he requests (like what show he wants to watch or what he wants to eat for lunch) and looks at me puzzled when I hand him something or turn on a show and says, "I said yes Elmo?" Or... "I told you I wanted cheerios?" I guess he doesn't have a very good memory.
H- (Comes running in our bedroom in the morning) "K, it's not dark outside anymore. I'm all done sleeping."
Hendrix has always been a little constipated (hence the pooping in the potty issues). While he was pooping in his diaper today, he came out of the bathroom all upset and said, "It's not working Momma." Poor guy! Thank goodness for Miralax.
H- (While singing and playing his guitar) "You won't save your money! You won't save your money! You won't save your money!" No one really knows what he's talking about.......
H- "I want to pick food."
J- "You want to pick food?"
H- "Yeah, I want to pick an apple, a carrot and a plum."
J- "We can go home and you can choose an apple in the fridge."
H- "No! I want to find a tree."
J- "An apple tree?"
H- "Yeah, I want to pick an apple, a carrot and a plum off of the tree."
Me- "Hendrix, do you need to go potty?"
H- "I don't need to go potty, I'm just touching my wiener."
Hendrix calls his belly button his "Marsh-allow." (Marshmallow)
J- "I'm gonna whop you in the face." (Just joking around, obviously. lol)
H- "NO! Not my beautiful face!"
Me- (Getting Hendrix dressed in the morning.)
H- "There! Now I'm sooo handsome!"
H- "I'm not gonna cry at church today Momma."
H- (Brushing my hair)
Me- "Are you going to help me brush the baby's hair when she comes out?"
H- "No, she doesn't have any hair."
Me- "She might have a little bit of hair."
H- (Points to my belly) "No, see she doesn't have any hair."
Hendrix has an imaginary friend named "Stylish" (?!?*$&*) Stylish is a baby and has gray eyes. Weird..................

38 weeks
Here is my glorious, 38 week preggo belly. It usually doubles in size by the end of the day... trust me. I accidently cut my head off when I took the picture and decided to just leave it like that since my face is all poofy anyway.
Went to the doctor today and haven't made too much progress since last week. I'm still dialated to a 2 and 75% thinned out. No weight gain this week. My doctor is out of town for the weekend so I'm going to try and lay low for the next few days.
I actually feel pretty good, just tired and uncomfortable. My doctor said he would induce me next weekend... VERY tempting. It would be so convenient to do it that way, I guess I need to think about it some more.
More then anything, I'm just ridiculously excited to meet this little baby. I dream about snuggling her and kissing those teeny, tiny little toes. We have waited soooo long and are anxious to get her here.

Water slide fun!
We took advantage of the extra warm weather by turning Wendy's slide into a waterslide/slip-n-slide last week. The kids had so much fun and I was content sitting in the shade near by. Wendy is always so good at taking pictures and I'm very grateful because I suck at remembering to bring my camera.

A shower for baby Jovie
Cute Meghan and Wendy threw a baby shower for me and Jovie about a month ago. I really didn't want to have another shower because my sweet family and friends already gave me gifts when I had Hendrix but Meghan and Wendy convinced me that it would be fine and I'm glad they did because I had NOTHING for Jovie. I got the most adorable things and can't wait one more second to dress her up in all of it. It was so much fun to see friends that I haven't seen in a while and to have an afternoon with all of the girls.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Meghan and Wendy, you are THE BEST!
The adorable invitations Wendy made.
Shari and Emily. I love them like they're my own sister-in-laws. They gave me the tiniest/cutest little swim suit, towel dress and sun hat EVER! OMG!
Meghan's Mom and Grandma. Lynette has always been like a second mom to be since Meghan and I have been friends for so long. They were so sweet to go in on a gift together and bought me like 6 of the most adorable outfits/dresses you've EVER seen!
The DELICIOUS food!
Kay Bowden (Meghan's mother-in-law) made these beautiful cookies! Can you believe how amazing they are? I didn't want to eat one because they were so pretty!
Below are a few pictures of some of the presents I got. I didn't want to post these pictures because I look kind of chubby sitting down (I know... I AM pregnant, but still....) But thank you to everyone for the gifts, even if they're not pictured.
Some warm outfits for the fall from Amanda Simper. It's so nice knowing that I have a few clothes in bigger sizes hanging in the closet. (Don't mind the dirt patch on my knee. I rolled my ankle and fell in the grass about 5 minutes before this picture was taken. Don't wear heels when you're pregnant, mkay?)
My sweet Mom and her best friend Gina made this quilt for me. They made one for Hendrix when he was a baby and he still loves it! Handmade gifts are the best and mean the most. Thanks Mom and Gina!
Wendy is quite the little seamstress herself! She made this car seat cover that melts my heart whenever I look at it. She also made me a car seat blanket and a large receiving blanket. Like she didn't do enough throwing me a shower, right?
Me and Cassie Smith. I love her! She gave Jovie the cutest little purple outfit.
I love these girls!

Cody & Wendy's B-day Party/Easter Egg Coloring
Here are a bunch of pictures from our birthday celebration for Cody and Wendy last month. We also colored Easter Eggs since Easter was the next day and my cute Mom had an Easter Egg hunt for the little kiddos. They had so much fun! Happy Birthday to Cody and Wendy.
