One of those days...

Wanna hear about it? Good, because I'm going to tell you about it.

1. My son still refuses to go #2 in the toilet. I tried to catch him in the act and run him upstairs but he starts screaming and won't sit on the potty. I have tried to bribe him. I explained to him how it works and what to do. I told him stories about the monkey that went poop in the toilet. NONE of it's working.

2. I think Hendrix decided that he was going to be a "terrible two" today. He screamed when I got him dressed, he refused to put his shoes on and actually kicked me and he won't eat anything today. He has thrown multiple tantrums and wants to do everything by himself.

3. I have yelled at my sweet boy TWICE today and it's only 1:00.

4. Hendrix has been in time out 3 times today and it's STILL only 1:00.

5. I don't feel good, I think I'm getting sick.

6. My bedroom is a disaster but I can't do anything about it because the dresser I just painted needs new hardware, which we haven't had time to go buy because we've had something going on every night this week. I'm really sick of doing something every night.

7. I feel like I don't get to see my husband anymore and find it annoying that he plays soccer 2 nights a week even though I know that he loves it, it's so good for him and he totally deserves it.

8. It's freakin hot outside. I hate the summer.

-Not to complain about my life or anything, it's just one of those days where you need to vent but your husband is so busy at work he can't answer his phone and the frustration keeps building inside like a shaken up soda pop. So, what do you do? You blog about it! Because life is real and some days are hard and that's just how it goes. I'm really hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

A little piece of Momma

I don't know if I have ever posted about this! When Hendrix was born, he came out with this little patch of black hair on the top of his head. We thought that it was probably a temporary thing but it hasn't disappeared yet! You don't really notice it when his hair is longer and spiked up with gel but when I buzzed his head last week I started laughing out loud because you can still totally see it. I like to think that Heavenly Father gave him a little piece of his Momma's dark hair. Anyway... I think it's pretty cute and pretty hilarious at the same time. Love ya Doodle!

St. George and Marcus's 2nd Birthday!

We went down to St. George to celebrate Marcus's 2nd birthday. We pretty much swam the whole weekend, stopped at SWIG one too many times, ate way too much crap, laughed a lot and tried to sit in the air conditioning as much as possible. It was around 105 degrees the entire weekend, BLAH! I could not live there! We had tons of fun though and hope we can go down again soon... but maybe when it cools down.   =)

POOL TIME!!!!! (Because there is nothing else to do when it's 106 outside.)

There always has to be a creepy photo when on vacation.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCUS!!!!

This was Marcus during his party. Poor guy, all tuckered out!

Julie write HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCUS *2* all the way across her brick wall in side walk chalk. It was the cutest thing ever! I wish I got a picture of the HAPPY BIRTHDAY part.

See the hammock in the background? Yeah... I was sitting on it and it snapped. I guess I ate too much birthday cake that day.

We can't forget to post a picture of the sun bathing princess!
