NEW POST

Okay, let's be honest here. The daily blogging thing just isn't happening but I'm trying my best to "journal" more and update the blog more often. So here are some things I want to remember over the last few days.

Hendrix says......

Jordan was rocking with Hendrix the other night and this is what Hendrix told him.
"Daddy? I want you to give me 7 balloons so I can hold on to them and go way up high in the sky so that you can't put me to bed EVER.... EVER!"

Remmi has been so sick, bless her little heat. She has been crying for the last 3 days along with throwing up, having diarhea and a runny nose. I haven't showered much during this time, it's pretty much pointless because I'm constantly covered in some sort of bodily fluid.

Jordan has been so good to me this week. He stayed home with the babies Tuesday night while I got a pedicure with Meghan and then again on Thursday night so I could play BUNKO with Wendy, Annie and Meghan. I love him.

Hendrix is REALLY looking forward to going to St. George this weekend. He asks me everyday if it's time to go swimming in Marcus' pool. He's also very excited for our reproductive care center party at the zoo in a few weeks. We picked up our tickets today and he held them so tight on the way home.

I pulled out all of my baby toys since Remmi has been reaching for things and putting them in her mouth already. Hendrix was being sooo funny! He seriously remembered the toys and kept saying, "Ahhhh, this is my favorite old toy!" He kept handing them to Remmi saying, "Here you go little sweetie. SHE LOVES IT MOMMA!"

And for good measure, here is a picture of Jordan with all of the kiddos a couple of nights ago. All the babies love Jordan.  =)

3 Months Old

My little Remmi... you are 3 months old today (really it was yesterday but I'm a slacker so let's pretend like it's today.) I can't believe how squishy and snuggly you are, I can't seem to get enough of you! I wish you could stay little forever.
You're getting so strong and love to sit up where ever you can; the bumbo, your car seat, my lap, etc. You can roll from your tummy to your back. You've actually been doing this for about a month now.
You sleep sooooo well, you must be my daughter.  =)
You're becoming very vocal lately. The coo's and a-goo's are so ridiculously cute.
Such a happy baby you are! You are always smiling and only cry when you're tired or hungry.
I think those dimples get deeper everyday. LOVE THEM!

August 20th

Today my baby is 3 months old. She gets more delicious every day and I can't even stand it. I want to always remember her chunky legs and big dimples. She was extra "talkative" today, probably because she knew it was her 3 month birthday.   =)    I will post some 3 month pictures tomorrow.

Something I DON'T want to remember that happened today was when I lost Hendrix. OH MY GOSH, what a horrific moment when you realize your 3 year old is missing and you have absolutely no idea where he is. I found him at the top of our street, walking around with a map in his hands. He told me he was following the map and going to the doctor's office. WHAT?!?!?! I had to explain to him that he can't leave our yard with out me knowing. He seemed so confused when I told him I was scared that he was lost. He said, "I was just goin to the doctor's office Momma." Bless his sweet little heart. I snuggled him extra lot's tonight, kissed him more than I usually do and made sure to tell him I l loved him 3 times before I layed him in his bed.

Remember Jungle Jims?

Who knew that Jungle Jims was still up and running after 20+ years? Wendy and I bought all day passes for 5 bucks on a KSL deal. We decided to use ours on Friday since Jordan had the day off. FAMILY FUN DAY! We were there for 3 hours that morning then went back later that night with everyone else. I remember going to Jungle Jims when I was little and thinking it was the greatest place ever. I remembered specific rides and totally had flash backs while waching Hendrix ride them.

Hendrix is going through a phase where he hates smiling for the camera so I get this interesting smile.

Cute Aunt Annie came to ghetto Jungle Jims with us. She's so cute with the boys.
Grandpa Lindsi came over for a little bit after he got off work.

SWINGS!

They're such good buddies. We love it when Marcus comes to town.
The airplanes were Hendrix's favorate ride. He loved that he was in control of the plane going up or down. I think Marcus liked this ride best too.

Jeep safari ride!

Oh my word I love that boy!

-My camera battery died right when Bentley got there so I didn't get any pictures of him. I'll just steal some from Wendy when she posts them.

Daily blogging catch up.

My daily blogging didn't really happen this weekend since we had so much going on with the wedding and such. Jordan some how manages to claim the computer every night to work on his little side projects so that doesn't help my daily blogging goal either. Not to mention Shark Week on Discovery channel consuming my late night "free time." Why do I love shark week so much? It only makes me more terrified to get in the ocean. So here I am, catching up.

Thursday was one of those "hard" days that you just kind of want to forget about. I remember laying in bed thinking, "What is something positive that I can blog about/remember from this day?" Hendrix was in a really weird mood all day and pretty much drove me to the nutty house. We did have fun making some cookies together though. He likes to sit on the table and dump all of the ingredients into the bowl. He knows not to touch the eggs or the batter, he's so smart!

Friday was a fun day! I bought some passes to Jungle Jims from a KSL deal and we decided to go since Jordan had the day off. BEST $5.00 I HAVE EVER SPENT! The pass was good for the entire day we so went for 3 hours that morning then again that evening with the Morales clan, Wendy & Bentley and Annie. Hendrix had the time of his life and talks about it everyday. I'll post some pictures later.

On Saturday my only brother got married. It was a long, hot day but was filled with wonderful moments and great memories. It was really special to be in the temple with my brother and witness him being sealed for all eternity to cute Sarah. I will not forget the way he looked at her after the sealer said, "you are now husband and wife, sealed for time and all eternity." I love him so much! There will be a longer post with pictures coming soon.

Sunday. I woke up to Hendrix in my face talking about going to Jungle Jims and riding all of the rides again. WHAT? I was so tired from the night before that I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or going crazy. We had a nice, quiet day together then went to Cody and Wendy's house for a little icecream party. It was so nice outside, I could have stayed out there all night. I filled my belly with a delicious peanut butter oreo shake. YUM!

More blogging

I came to the conclusion that I need to start blogging more, every day in fact. I need to remember those tiny moments that are so wonderful for that split second in time but easily forgotten because the rest of the day carries on and so do we all. My babies are growing fast, too fast and I feel like Jordan and I keep saying, "Remember when Hendrix used to do this? Remember when Hendrix was first learning how to talk and he said his R's like this?" I refuse to forget those little moments, because the clock continues to tick and life, their little lives, are flying right before my eyes.
So here we go! This first post will be a bit more lengthy as I try to remember what has happened in the last few days/weeks.

On Monday, Jordan told me that my eyes looked extra sparkly. I love him.

One of my favorite moments that happens daily around here is when I go into Remmi's bedroom first thing in the morning. As soon as she catches my eye she gets the biggest smile on her face and coo's for me.

The other day I was pumping and Hendrix said to me, "Momma, you feed me with your nipple when I was a baby?" I chuckled a bit and said "Yeah buddy, I did." His reply was, "Sanks (thanks) Momma, you're a good boy (with a pat on the leg)." What a hilarious/precious moment. .

Jordan told me I looked really pretty yesterday. It made me smile and feel a little bit better about myself since I've been down about the rest of this baby weight that seems to be sitting right around my mid-section. Blurg.

Today I went upstairs to get Remmi out of her swing because she started to fuss. I couldn't help but stare at her round little face and watch her fight sleep and try to wake up. Her eyes kept rolling back into her head as she smiled, frowned, whimpered, smiled again, furled her brow, half smiled and so on. I couldn't believe how many different faces she made in a matter of seconds.

Hendrix and I built a fort together. I feel that little things like that bring us closer together. He gets excited so easily.

We went and got snow cones tonight since Hendrix has been asking me for days to go get one. Hendrix wanted a yellow one (banana) and Jordan shared his sour pink one with me. We sat on a bench as the sun was going down and hung out for 20 minutes or so. The only thing I love abour summer are the warm nights.

I had all of my family over Saturday night for dinner to celebrate my Mom's birthday. I love it when the whole family gets together. It was really hot in my house so we hung out in the front yard for a little while. The boys (big boys) thoroughly enjoyed trying to kill all of the wasps that have taken over our porch. Pretty hilarious to watch if you ask me.

I took Hendrix to see his new preschool today. He was so excietd to get his back pack and meet his teacher. He loved playing with the toys and didn't want to leave. I can't believe he's getting so old. He asks me everyday (seriously, everyday) if it's his birthday yet. I try to ignore the fact that he's going to be FOUR in a few months.

Silly Hendrix

OMG! Hendrix has been saying the most hilarious things lately so I thought I would hurry and write down the things I can remember.

Back story- We introduced Hendrix to Toy Story a couple of months ago and he's pretty much been obsessed with it. He quotes lines from the movie all day long and we seriously pee our pants everytime. He even runs around the room pretending to fly like Buzz. Some of the hilarious quotes he's said recently are:

"You wanna a piece of me?"
"RARRRRRRRR! Were you scared?"
(While hitting his chest) "Buzz, buzz, buzzzz light year to the rescue!"
"To infinity... and beyond!"
While looking at his poop in the toilet, "Somebody's poisened the water hole!"

-Jordan asked Hendrix a question while he was "reading" a book and Hendrix said, "I don't hear you."

-Hendrix tells me (with an attitude) at least 10 times everyday, "It's fine, OKAY???"

-Today I was nursing Remmi and Hendrix lifted up his shirt, looked at both of his nipples and said, "Huh. I can feed her too."

-J- "We need to take your clothes off outside because they're full of dirt."
H- "Is this outside?" (In the garage)
J- "Yeah."
H- "No, this is inside the garage you little silly."

Me- "Hendrix, is your banana muffin good."
H- "Yeah but there are lot's of little black snakes in my muffin."

While laying in bed with us one night (and wearing his favorite glow in the dark star jammies) Hendrix says:
"Momma, did you put these stars on my jammies?"
Me-" No buddy, the store did." (I was too tired for a better explanation.)
H- "Oh. Thanks store."
