One of those days....

Since I'm in blogging mode I would like to record the events that occured today. I like to remind myself and everyone else out there that motherhood is a challenge, it's hard and I am far from being perfect. Some days are my favorite with lot's of fun, memories, snuggles, giggles and much more. Other days I just want to lock myself in the bathroom and cry. Today was one of those "lock yourself in the bathroom" kind of days.

Favorite moment of the day: Walking into the library, excited to have some fun with my buddy and get some new books.

Least favorite moment of the day: Walking out of the library 3 minutes later with a crying baby on my hip, dragging my hysterical 4 year old to the car while everyone stares at me. You throw tantrums at the library, you leave the library immediately.

Favorite comment of the day: "Maybe you're not eating enough." I don't want to expand any further on this. Okay?

Shocking moment of the day: Getting an e-mail saying that I've purchased $300.00 worth of "hints" for some car game on my phone. I am still recovering from the mini heart attack I had. What am I going to do with my 4 year old?

Remmi getting shots at the doctor's office didn't make the day any better. A grumpy, tired 9 month old topped the night off.

Christmas Baking

After looking through all of my cell phone pics, I found some more Christmas moments. Here is Hendrix making/decorating cookies for Santa. He wrote a special "letter" to put on Santa's cookies.

We made a ginger bread train this year together! Way fun! Hendrix loved puting all of the tiny candies on the train, he even snuck a few and ate them. Silly boy.

Christmas 2012

Well, I suck. I haven't blogged about Christmas yet. BLURG! Here we go!

Christmas was pretty low key this year. Since we're living at Judy's house, I didn't put any decorations up, just our little tree. I love our tree. Hendrix was soooo excited for Christmas this year. He had looked forward to it for months. We put our cookies and milk our for Santa, carrots for his reindeer and went to sleep. He came into our room on Christmas morning and hung out in our bed for at least 30 minutes (not realizing Santa had come) before we finally told him there were presents under the tree and that Santa had come. lol. Silly boy!

Later that morning we went over to my Mom's house for Christmas brunch. YUM! I love Christmas brunch.

So excited about his new presents.

Remmi just wanted to eat the wrapping paper.

Christmas night is spent with the Kemps every year. Sadly, my camera battery died after I took these pictures of Hendrix and Brandon playing with Hendrix's new "Hex bugs." We had lot's of fun that night though! Good food, good company and some Kemp love!

Going Private

Since I don't blog regularly anymore and no one really reads my blog anymore.... I decided I should probably make it private. It's more of a journal for me anyway. If you're interested in still viewing our blog, send me your e-mail address and I'll add you to the privilaged list.  =)

8 Months

My baby turned 8 months old on the 20th. I'm a bit of a slacker and just took her pictures today. lol. Remmi is such a delight these days. She's like a piece of sunshine on a cloudy day or sprinkles on a birthday cake. She seems to make everyone happy. Love her!

-Remmi is getting pretty close to crawling. She gets so frustrated that she can't move any faster. Basically she just rolls from place to place.
-She LOVES food! Shocker, right? She eats everything I put in her mouth and usually cries for more. I recently started feeding her table food.... banana pancakes seem to be her favorite!
-My baby is pretty chubby. Everyone seems to make comments on how fat she is. Sometimes I get offended but then remember that she has NEVER been sick! Suck on that little chicken babies! I like her squishiness. =)
-Remmi is obsessed with Hendrix and thinks he's hilarious. Her Momma is her favorite though. She's kind of a Momma's girl.
-A tiny baby tooth is starting to poke through Remmi's gums! YAY!
-She wears 12-18 month clothes.
-Is content just sitting on our laps. Loves to be snuggled.
-Wants to chew on EVERYTHING!
-Still growls but mostly squacks and squeals like an extrememly loud parrot.

7 Months

Happy 7 months baby! You are probably the most delightful thing I have ever encountered. I love you more that I could ever imagine and I have to restrain myself, on a daily basis, from eating you. NOM NOM NOM! Here are some fun things about you right now:

You eat baby food and love it! I've been trying to make most of your baby food, since it's so much better for you. You'll pretty much eat whatever I put in your mouth but usually cringe a few times before you get used to the flavor.
You sleep 13 hours with out eating and only get up once or twice in the middle of the night when you lose your binki.
You think your brother is hilarious.
You're completely terrified of my blowdryer and have a meltdown whenever I turn it on.
You LOVE your jumper.
Your smile is contagious and pretty much everyone loves you.
Those cheeks and dimples are delightful.
No teeth yet.
You weigh 18 lbs... little chunker!
You're 27 inches long.
You kind of have a small head. lol. It's okay, I do too.
Your eyes are hazel like brother and daddy.
You can ALMOST sit up all by yourself. No crawling yet.

Your Aunt Meagan gave you this adorable outfit! It makes me smile.  =)

Love those big hazel eyes!

TRAX

Meghan invited us to ride TRAX with her, Mathew, Beckett, Lynette and Ammie on Friday. Hendrix had never been on TRAX, so it was a lot of fun for him. We rode the train all the way down town, ate lunch at Hires and rode the train back home.
