Zoo day with DADDY!!!!

I have LOT'S of pictures/posts from the zoo this year but the pictures are too cute not to put up! We braved the cold and went to the zoo a couple of weeks ago with Daddy this time! NO ONE was there and all of the animals were out so it was pretty awesome!

The Polar Express

I asked Hendrix what he wanted to do for his birthday this year. He could have a big party with his friends, go to Planet Play, whatever he wanted. He decided that he wanted to go on the Polar Express again. We got tickets for December 16th and gave him the option of bringing Remmi or going with just Mommy and Daddy. He chose to go by himself. We had lot's of fun on the train, drinking our hot chocolate and eating Mrs. Claus's famous chocolate chip cookies (not that great.... mine are way better)! Hendrix was most excited to see Santa Claus and tell him that he wants Legos for Christmas this year.

Hendrix turns FIVE!!!

We had our family over on Sunday, the 15th to celebrate Hendrix's birthday! I can't believe I became a mama FIVE years ago. All day long I was thinking about what I was doing, at that same time, 5 years ago. I remember what time I felt my first contraction, what time I got in the shower, what time I woke Jordan up, what time we decided to go to the hospital, what time I finally got an epidural and what time he was born. It's amazing how you NEVER forget those details because they are so special. My life changed forever that day and I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING in the whole world.

Hendrix woke up to a plethora of balloons that the balloon fairy left in his room while he was sleeping. Remmi might have been a little bit more excited about it than Hendrix was. We had lot's of fun playing in Hendrix's room all morning. He got 2 Iron Man toys from us and tickets to ride on the Polar Express.

I LOVE this picture! They love each other so much and Hendrix is soooo sweet to Remmi. He is never mean to her.

Remmi looks a bit homeless in these pictures. The mullet and hillbilly teeth don't help much.  =)

PARTY TIME!!!!!

Hendrix was so excited to blow out his candle and make a wish for his birthday. He told Jordan earlier that day, "When I blow out my candle and make a wish I'm going to wish that we are all together as a family because that is the best wish ever." SERIOUSLY??? Jordan had said nothing to him about making a wish for his birthday. He is THE SWEETEST!

SOOOOOO excited to blow out his candle.....

Then this happened.....  (I had to re-light his candle and I guess the flame got kind of close to his face and scared him.)

No one knows why child #2 is also crying....

So we calmed down, moved locations and sang Happy Birthday again. A little more hesitant this time though.

Phew! We survived! (P.S- Remmis is STILL crying at this point.)

Bentley wanted to take a picture with Grandma and Grandpa too. I'm sad I didn't get a picture of Hendrix with Meghan and Jordan but they left a little bit early.

Happy Birthday Jordan and Amy

Since we were in California for my birthday, we celebrated mine and Jordan's birthdays with my family on the 20th (Jordan's birthday). We had dinner and cake & icecream at my Mom's house. I'm glad Wendy snapped a few pics because I never do.

Halloween 2013

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Hendrix had a REALLY hard time deciding what he wanted to be for Halloween this year. His first choice was to be Remmi. Seriously? I don't know where this kid comes up with stuff. LOL. His second choice was to be a mummy but we had a very hard time trying to find a mummy costume. His third choice was a ghost but then changed his mind when he saw the Iron Man costume. He didn't really know who Iron Man was but for some reason he insisted on dressing up like him. We ended up watching The Avengers with him and he's been obsessed ever since.

My Mom's work has a family trick-or-treating day every Halloween and Hendrix gets so excited about it! They decorate 2 of the floors in Halloween stuff and the kids get to collect candy from the desks of the employees. Each year is a different theme and they always do a great job.

My little pink and purple unicorn!

Grandma Judy does her famous Halloween party every year. The kids get to play lot's of fun games and always have fun! Cute Judy works so hard every year and comes up with the cutest prizes, gifts and games for the kids.
