A shower for baby Jovie

Cute Meghan and Wendy threw a baby shower for me and Jovie about a month ago. I really didn't want to have another shower because my sweet family and friends already gave me gifts when I had Hendrix but Meghan and Wendy convinced me that it would be fine and I'm glad they did because I had NOTHING for Jovie. I got the most adorable things and can't wait one more second to dress her up in all of it. It was so much fun to see friends that I haven't seen in a while and to have an afternoon with all of the girls.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Meghan and Wendy, you are THE BEST!

 The adorable invitations Wendy made.

Shari and Emily. I love them like they're my own sister-in-laws. They gave me the tiniest/cutest little swim suit, towel dress and sun hat EVER! OMG!

Meghan's Mom and Grandma. Lynette has always been like a second mom to be since Meghan and I have been friends for so long. They were so sweet to go in on a gift together and bought me like 6 of the most adorable outfits/dresses you've EVER seen!

 The DELICIOUS food!

Kay Bowden (Meghan's mother-in-law) made these beautiful cookies! Can you believe how amazing they are? I didn't want to eat one because they were so pretty!

Below are a few pictures of some of the presents I got. I didn't want to post these pictures because I look kind of chubby sitting down (I know... I AM pregnant, but still....) But thank you to everyone for the gifts, even if they're not pictured.

Some warm outfits for the fall from Amanda Simper. It's so nice knowing that I have a few clothes in bigger sizes hanging in the closet. (Don't mind the dirt patch on my knee. I rolled my ankle and fell in the grass about 5 minutes before this picture was taken. Don't wear heels when you're pregnant, mkay?)

My sweet Mom and her best friend Gina made this quilt for me. They made one for Hendrix when he was a baby and he still loves it! Handmade gifts are the best and mean the most. Thanks Mom and Gina!

Wendy is quite the little seamstress herself! She made this car seat cover that melts my heart whenever I look at it. She also made me a car seat blanket and a large receiving blanket. Like she didn't do enough throwing me a shower, right?

Me and Cassie Smith. I love her! She gave Jovie the cutest little purple outfit.

 I love these girls!

Cody & Wendy's B-day Party/Easter Egg Coloring

Here are a bunch of pictures from our birthday celebration for Cody and Wendy last month. We also colored Easter Eggs since Easter was the next day and my cute Mom had an Easter Egg hunt for the little kiddos. They had so much fun! Happy Birthday to Cody and Wendy.

37 weeks

I went to the doctor today and wanted to write down my progress so far. At 36 weeks I was dialated to a 1 and 50 % thinned out. Today I was dialated to a 2 and 75% thinned. My doctor said she could come today or in 3 weeks, it's just the waiting game now. My blood pressure has been great the whole pregnancy and I've gained 30 pounds so far. He called me his "easy" patient. lol.

I've been feeling a lot more pressure and the contractions I have come more frequently. I'm REALLY tired but try to stay positive and take it one day at a time. I did have a little break down last night though. I had a really hard day with Hendrix, I know he senses something is going to happen soon and I'm sure seeing me wash the baby's clothes and getting her room organized is an indication that she'll be here soon. I was telling my Mom about my hard day last night on the phone and just started bawling. My emotions have been a little bit crazy lately. Today has been so much better though! YAY!

I've been trying to post belly pictures every 4 weeks so maybe I'll take one next week... probably the last one I'll post though.

Side note: I was in the elevator at St. Mark's today with this old lady and she said the funniest thing about my shirt. I was wearing a shear, kind of flowery shirt with a white shade underneath because the back of the shirt is open. When I turned around she said, "Oh. That's kind of neat that the back of your shirt is open but pretty inconvenient because you have to wear another shirt underneath." I think I said something like, "Oh... yeah.... Haha" but was THINKING, "Well since the entire shirt is shear, I would probably wear a shirt underneath anyway." Old people are funny.

Grandpa Lindsi's Birthday Party

We celebrated my Dad's birthday about a month ago but I never bring my camera with me these days so I had to wait until Wendy posted them on her blog and I could steal them. Thanks Wendy!

I would like to document my son eating something... because he never eats anything.

Just lookin for some bugs. Boys are hilarious.

 Ben and his girlfriend Sarah.

I think Annie and I have a goal of taking the most ugly pictures whenever a camera is around. HAHAHA!

This is my "Please don't take anymore pictures of my giant-8 month-pregnant-self Wendy.

 Where's Amy's belly?

 Happy Birthday Dad!

SCOOTER RIDES!!!! Kenli didn't like her ride as much as the boys. LOL! I love this picture!

Summer?

Let me just start by saying that these pictures were taken on APRIL 21st. APRIL!!! Why is it so hot already? I believe the high that day was 85..... SICK! (I still hate the heat.) Hendrix and his buddy Wyatt had so much fun playing in the sprinklers on Saturday though. They looked so cute in their matching red shorts, haha! I was sitting in the shade, sweating and trying not to curse out loud.

A little inappropriate.

This picture may be a bit inappropriate but I had to blog about it because we were laughing so hard when it happened. I can't turn the picture because Meghan took it on her cell phone but you get the idea. Hendrix has this standing stop sign the you would place in your garage so you know when to stop your car. Our neighbor gave it to him because he loved playing with it so much. The stop sign stands about 4 feet tall and comes apart in 3 different places. Hendrix is sitting on the base of the stand. I know.... it looks REALLY bad but you can't help laughing. Boys will be boys.

Easter Egg Hunt

Don't mind the bruised nose. Our little basketball hoop outside fell on top of him.

She's so cute. Look at the wind blowing her little pony tail.

These were pretty much the only Easter pictures I took. Bad Mom, huh? In my defense, I have a pretty ginormous belly and taking pictures is the last thing on this tired Mom's mind.

Here are the cute kiddos at Wendy's ward Easter egg hunt. We were really glad that they invited us to come. It was VERY windy but warm enough to look for the eggs outside which the kids loved.

The Easter bunny made it to our house this year (first time since Hendrix was born). He left lot's of treats and presents for Hendrix, including: Hot wheels cars, side walk chalk, bubbles, new church clothes, glow in the dark stars for his ceiling, a new book and some candy. Hendrix had lot's of fun reading the note from the silly easter bunny that tied his hidden basket to a string for him to follow. Hendrix woke up the next day and said, "I want to follow the string again Mom." HAPPY EASTER!
